About me

I left my home in Seattle shortly after graduating from high school, and have been drifting around the world ever since. Life's always been a bit of an adventure - disasters and mishaps and loss seem to follow me around sometimes. But I have more than made up for it with what I have gained - a career I love, a husband I love even more, and two beautiful sons who bring me so much joy every day that I often wonder how on earth I got to be so lucky.

We live now in sleepy Lilongwe, Malawi. This blog is a little of this, a little of that, but mostly about our adventures here in Africa and wherever life may take us next.
